9/11 5 year anniversary

hello.

well, today marks the 5th anniversary of the world trade centre
bombings, here in NY. there is of course some front page news and TV
spots on the subject but nothing like the coverage in years past which
shows that NY is moving onwards, not downwards, forwards, not
backwards, sideways, not onwards, left, not downwards... ummm you get
the point.

RIP Steve Irwin and peter Brock. Steve was a legend and i couldn't
believe it when i heard he had died, and i was even more surprised by
my reaction, i was upset by the incident. he was a man who led an
adventure for a life and made leaps and bounds in animal awareness and
conservation.

today i have been helping Steve with his editing of the music video,
which has been a fantastic learning experience, he is very talented,
my uncle, like the rest of my family. tomorrow i am planning on
meeting up with Kerri who worked on Ashes with me, who i haven't seen
in a while.
